Harrison Toogood has been training under Sensei Tom since the age of 8 years old, prior to this they were training with Chief instructor Sensei Paul Wood from the age of 6 years old. Harrison began assisting Sensei Tom in his classes from the age of 13, during this time he has highly developed their own teaching & coaching skills.Harrison first started karate in order to help to get himself into sport and to help him to Boost his own self confidence. Harrison became very interested in karate throughout the years, in particular progressing through the different grades as he saw it as a good way of tracking his progress and continuously improving. Harrison has competed previouslyand taken medals at various competitions with his proudest medal being a bronze medal at the Central England open. He has also trained with the regional squad. Grading to his 1st Dan black belt at age 16 and being promoted to his 2nd Dan 3 years later Harrison continued to train both under Sensei Paul and Sensei Tom before being able to start his own classes just after his 18th Birthday. Fast forward to present day and Harrison is teaching his own classes 5 days a week whilst staying on top of his owntraining. Alongside karate, Sensei Harrison has completed a sports coaching and fitness diploma. He has also qualified as a level 2 fitness instructor, level 3 personal trainer and nutritional advisor. Sensei Harrison also trained in brazilian jiu-jitsu. Some of the people that Sensei Harrison has trained with include Christophe pinna, Luigi Busa, Kevin Capel.
