Kieran Duffy

Kieran started his karate journey at 8 years old, building nearly two decades of dedication to the martial art and representing his club across the country as both competitor and coach. He began his teaching journey at 15 and continued to advance his personal training, earning his Black Belt in 2019 at 20 years old and achieving his 2nd Dan in 2021.

Now 27, Kieran’s main focus remains squarely inside the dojo. For him, karate is far more than physical technique and sparring. His true passion lies in using martial arts as a foundation to teach young students vital life skills like resilience, respect, confidence, and integrity. He strives to create a supportive, high-energy environment where kids learn to overcome challenges and carry those positive habits into their everyday lives.

Outside the dojo, Kieran serves the community as a Firefighter. His natural leadership, drive, and emphasis on teamwork are reflected on the station floor, where he frequently leads crew fitness sessions and has been recommended for a Crew Manager role by his Watch Manager, standing out as the youngest member of the team. The composure under pressure, physical conditioning, and accountability required in the fire service directly inform his teaching style.

Whether guiding a beginner through their first class or preparing an advanced student for their next belt, Kieran is dedicated to helping every member reach their full potential both inside and outside the dojo.
